As senior editor for the Association for Professionals in Infection Control and Epidemiology (APIC), I managed the editorial processes for its quarterly magazine, "APIC News"; its "Infection Connection" newsletter; its weekly email newsletter, and its convention daily newspaper. Developed authors and sources; planned, assigned, and wrote articles; edited all articles for content, clarity, quality, and style; and built relationship with designers and printer.
• Restored “on-time” schedule of quarterly magazine, producing five issues in one year
• Revived quarterly long-term care newsletter "Infection Connection," expanding content from four to 12 pages.
• Led revamp of quarterly magazine, enriching content for its 11,000 readers.
• Developed production schedules and editorial plans.

Over the course of 8 years, as staff writer and associate editor for the American Bus Association's Destinations Magazine, I
• Interviewed more than 300 industry leaders and wrote more than 50 business articles.
• Researched, conducted interviews for, and wrote more than 650 240-to 3,000-word travel articles covering newsworthy attractions and destinations in the United States and Canada.
• Interviewed more than 75 bus company presidents and produced an equal number of corporate profiles for the information of the magazine’s 3,000 readers.
• Wrote copy for 12 eight-page daily newsletters for the ABA's annual convention.
